SHEILA: Female, middle to late 40's, Caucasian, blonde, big hair, she is a 'poor me' drama queen who is the wife of an ultra conservative pastor.
She is obnoxious and wears a ton of makeup. She is the antagonist, she is always keeping track of every nice thing she does for anyone like a
tally card to cash in on later.

ABE: Male, mid 50's to early 60's, Caucasian, gray hair, on the soft doughy side, good provider, no a fitness buff. He is 'nice' a warm nice
guy, though he does some things that if he wasn't genuinely likeable we wouldn't any empathy for his position and we must have for the role to
work.

BIKER: Male, 30's-40's, any ethnicity, tough hard living guy, stereotypical chopper driving, a bit scary.

DOCTOR: Male, late 20's-early 30's, East Asian or Middle Eastern, good looking, calm demeanor but horrible bed side manner.

HANDSOME DOCTOR: Male, 50's, any ethnicity, a polite well bred man, fiscally conservative, but blanches at the ultra religious community
that surrounds him.

HOMELESS GUY IN HIS 30'S-40'S: Male, 30's-40's, any ethnicity, ratty & disgusting wino type, beard, large intimidating.

HOMELESS GUY IN HIS 50'S: Male, 50's, any ethnicity, odd look, maybe lazy eye or other, facial hair, balding.

OLDER DOCTOR: Male, late 60's, Caucasian, small town doctor, should be retired, but wouldn't have anything else to do but fish.

POLICE OFFICER: Male, 40's, any ethnicity, big guy tall and burly, all around good guy.

SHAUNICE: Female, 40' - 50's, any ethnicity, overweight, weary, tired, dealing with the demands of being a single mother of 5 children,
insightful woman, probably smarter than the doctors she is making coffee for.

STERN NURSE: Female, 60's, caucasian, Southern Baptist, works long hours, answer phones and doesn't have time for all the calls that come
in, no patience for the repeat calls or attempts by callers to get more than a brief answer.

TEEN EARL: Male, looks 14, caucasian, already experimenting with hard drugs and loose women, browning teeth from chain-smoking, mullet and
peach fuzz moustache, fancies himself a ladies man.

FOX: Female, late 20's-early 30's, any ethnicity, absolute stunner “diamond in the rough”, a little past her prime but really loves
attention and gets it from truck driver type guys who drool over her.

Storyline: In TAMPA, twenty-something Louis loops into a local mall to grab lunch in the food court and a quickie in the public restroom. Louis is paranoid about his own small package and clearly nervous about the situation, but as he scouts for possible partners, his nerves and imagination take over.

Gay-themed with lots over-the-top physical comedy. No dialogue. Actors must be excellent at pphysical comedy and have the right spirit and sense of humor for this raucous comedy. Some nudity required, depending on role for which you are cast.

Seeking actors able to portray:

Jesus - of the thousand wounds ilk, lean, age 28-38

Army Recruiter - black, athletic build, age 35-45. Also seeing other ethnicities.

True Grit Holds Oklahoma Casting Call in Tulsa

Paramount Pictures and Filmmakers Joel and Ethan Coen are looking to cast the role of Mattie Ross for their latest project True Grit, based on the Charles Portis novel which spawned the Academy-Award winning film starring John Wayne in 1969.

The casting call will take place on Sunday, January 10 from 10 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. in Tulsa at the Hotel Ambassador located at 1324 S. Main St. Female applicants must be between the ages of 12-16. Space is limited; please bring only one parent/guardian per girl or group. Also, please remember to bring a current photo to leave with casting directors.

Mattie is to be a simple, tough as nails 14-year-old, young woman. Her steely nerves and straightforward manner are a shocking contrast to the way women behaved in the early century. She's possessed of true grit and plenty of determination. No Experience is necessary.

Additional notes: Do not make the mistake of trying to appear like or imitate Kim Darby (who played Mattie Ross in the original film). The film's publicist states, "We are looking for a tough girl who is tough, strong and tells it like it is." The casting directors are looking for real (scrubbed down, no make-up) "gritty" girls. Preferably the kind that ride horses, get dirty and speak their mind. They are not looking for theatrical "model" types. Rodeo girls (who ride and rope) are a plus.

True Grit is shooting in New Mexico and Texas and is slated to begin March 20, 2010.

BURRELL - Co-Star/MALE/35 TO 60/Caucasian - Though technically the villain, he's extremely fair (at least in his own mind) and follows rules carefully and to the end of the line. Weathered appearance/voice.

BOUNTYHUNTER - Co-Star/MALE/18 to 35/Caucasian - Needs to have an interesting 'historic' face, not a smooth pretty boy. He's a man's man and lives off the land.
