Plot: Fantasy football
Seeking actors able to portray:
Jack Snow: Jack is the main character in the story. He is 30ish,
handsome, Caucasian, family man, and
athletic. Jack was a former college football player who now lives his
sports dreams through fantasy
football. He’s been frustrated that he’s been so close to winning his
fantasy football championship. In
addition, Jack is somewhat disgusted by the antics of today’s NFL
players yet he still cheers for them
every Sunday. He’s dedicated to his family until it comes time for
fantasy football.
Lisa Snow: Jack’s wife. She is 30ish and attractive red head or
brunette. She talks with a slight
southern drawl as she is originally from Tennessee. Her son takes
priority in her life. She is trying to get
Jack to pay more attention to her rather than fantasy football.
Johnny Snow: Jack’s son. He is about eight years old and looks up to
his father. Johnny is mostly
interested in gaming(ie Wii, Nintendo, etc) but is trying to connect
with his father somewhat through
football. Johnny is well behaved but somewhat socially inept. He attends
private school.
The Commish: He is named such because he is the commission of the
Slappy Bush Fantasy Football
League. The Commish is 30ish, medium build. He is very competitive with
Jack and recently defeated
Jack in the high stakes fantasy football championship. The Commish works
with Jack and Steve-O at the
brokerage firm.
Steve-O: He is somewhat quirky character who looks like he could be a
rocker. Steve-O has spiky hair
with maybe a tattoo or two on his arm. He convinces Jack to rejoin the
fantasy football league. Steve-O
works as a trader at the brokerage firm. Steve-O is lean and in his 30s
or early 40s. Steve-O owns the
team, “Gordon Gecko Trading Company”.
El Guapo (formerly Nomads): He is a Hispanic male under 5 foot 2 inches
tall and in his 30s. His name is
driven from his fantasy team name. El Guapo is the most arrogant member
of the fantasy football
league who cuts people down through jokes anytime he can. One could say
that El Guapo suffers from
Napoleonic complex. He loves to drink beer.
Fat, Drunk, and Stupid: He is portly individual who is somewhat sloppy
and crude. He likes to hang
around with the guys on Sunday. His name is driven from his fantasy team
name. He is Caucasian and in
his 30s or early 40s.
The Crazy Chinamen: He is an Asian individual who is part of the league.
His name is driven from his
fantasy team name. He is about 28 and sometimes a little hard to
understand with his accent.
The Staggering Leprechauns: His name is driven from his fantasy team.
He might a slight Irish accent
although we’re not sure if he is really from Ireland or if he is doing
it for effect. He seems somewhat
quiet but likes to tell a good joke now and then. He is in his late 20s
or early 30s.

loud and arrogant and walks with

little crude and talks with a
slight Louisiana accent.
The Leatherheads: Their names are driven from their fantasy team. These
are two Caucasian men who
are in the 40s or 50s. Both are bald, and they are co-owners of their
team. They argue quietly during
the draft about their picks, so that no one else can pick up on what
they’re thinking.
Jeremy: He is Caucasian, around 30. He owns the fantasy team, “Big Blue
Balls” named so because he
attended University of Michigan. Jeremy is naïve as this is his first
year in the league. He picks his
football players based on the fact that they played in the Big Ten
football conference. Jeremy is tall but
may be considered oafish by the way he hunches over. Jeremy is a loan
officer with a local bank and
helps Jack get a loan to join play in the league.
Jar Head: His name is driven from his fantasy team. He is Caucasian, 30,
and sports a crew cut. He is the
most disciplined out of all the fantasy players. He is in the marine
reserves and waiting to possibly get
deployed to Iraq.
Mark: He is Jack’s boss at the brokerage firm. He is Caucasian about
50, clean cut, and well dressed.
Mark is a no nonsense guy who drives results and doesn’t put up with
bullshit in his office. Mark is also
a man of integrity. You better not lie to him or comprise the brokerage
firm.
Tyrice Donovan(TD): He is an African American NFL wide receiver who is
in late 20s. TD is arrogant and
loves to show boat. He confronts people he doesn’t like. This is the
wide receiver that Jack despises,
and they end up in conflict. TD must be athletically lean, above six
foot tall, and possess a great
arrogance about himself.
Randall Donaldson: He is an African American NFL running back is in
late 20s to early 30s. Randall is
confident; however, somewhat assuming. Randall recently returned to the
NFL after a league
suspension from drugs. Randall is working hard to make up lost time to
his family and especially his five
year old son. Randall is between 5 foot six to six foot tall. He has a
lot of muscle and may look stocky.
Randall has a confrontation with Jack. This is one of the most important
parts of the story. Randall must
be able to show compassion and tell an emotional story.
Shamus: Bartender at Jack’s favorite bar and place to watch fantasy
football. Shamus is 30 years old,
tall, and long scraggly blonde hair. He is avid fantasy football nut as
he has teams in five different
leagues plus he plays fantasy baseball, hockey, NASCAR, and other
sports. He recently got advice from
Jack that helped him win his league, so he’s very appreciative of Jack.
Steve Borman: Agent to TD and later Jack Snow. He’s small in stature
but carries a presence. He’s
always trying to please his clients as difficult as he can be.
Hostess: Very attractive Caucasian woman in her early to late 20s. She
can be blonde, red head, or
brunette. She seats Jack and his wife to their table. Some football
players make some sexual references
about her.

but carries a presence. He’s
always trying to please his clients as difficult even though they may be
difficult.

dinner with TD. Steve is about 25 – 35 and makes jokes and crude references.
Texas Rangers law officers: There will be a need for two Texas Rangers
law officers(men) who arrest
Jack. They should be between 30 – 50 and in good physical shape. They
can be African American or
Caucasian. They should have a commanding presence.
TV and Sports reporters: Jack will be interviewed on television. Also,
there are sports commentators
who talk about the games while they are in progress.
Local reporters: We will need two local reporters. One who broadcasts
from the news desk and one
who broadcasts from the field. They can be male or female.
Local sports anchor: Male who brings Jack on his show to give fantasy
football picks.
Local interviewer: Talk show hosts who brings Jack on his show to talk
about his rise to fame.
Booth announcers: There will two football announcers who broadcast from
the booth. We will see
them as they analyze football plays or talk about specific players.
Fantasy Football panel: This will be made up of three well dressed men
who will talk fantasy sports on
television. This would be similar to the Fantasy football show on Fox
Sports with Warren Moon and Erik
Kramer. We would like to get a named announcer and possibly two
ex-athletes. Jack will later join this
panel.
Tom: He is a late teenager boy who is playing his fantasy football for
the first time. He is eager to learn

line.

down. He has one line.
Jeffrey Talbot: He is Caucasian man in his 30s or 40s. He was recently
hired at Jack’s firm as a broker
and is given Jack’s accounts when he leaves the company. Jeffrey should
have a mean look to him and
have a commanding presence. Jeffrey has one line.

40s or 50s. He is well dressed and
distinguished. He gives Jack a dirty look when Jack says something
